APPLICABLE REGULATIONS:
EXPLANATION AND EXAMPLES:
  • Employees are NOT required to be trained if their work does not bring them close enough to exposed parts of electric circuits to present a risk of electric shock. For example, a person who is required to simply turn electrical equipment on and off does not require this training, but someone who is required to work on exposed electrical circuits while the equipment is energized would require training.
